Oh. My. Goodness. I couldn’t love this adorable gal any more! Meet Vicky, a graduate from St. Anthony Catholic High School in San Antonio. When we met up for her shoot, she came prepared! Vicky brought along her guitar, and her little dog, Snowie (who we all fell in love with). She is diverse, well-rounded, and so, so smart, and I loved being her senior photographer.
Vicky is the eldest of four children, and loves being a sister. She has many fond memories of her high school years, and says, “One time, when my classmates and I were waiting for a substitute teacher to show up for our class we were waiting out in the hallway. The floors in that hallway are wood so we decided to take off our shoes and slide around in the hallway in our socks. It was so much fun and although the teacher wasn’t as pleased to see us goofing around, it has become one of my fondest memories.” During high school, she participated in cross country, photography, the baking club, and theater. She also plays guitar. “I appear generally quiet and reserved”, she explains, “but I’m a very passionate and expressive person who cares deeply about others. I’m very artistic and I love having the opportunity to be creative, through music and photography.”
One of her favorite places to shop is Goodwill, and she loves expressing herself through eclectic and unique outfits. “I prefer dark hues, artsy minimalist designs, and skinny jeans”, explains Vicky, “I have a favorite dress that I wore to graduation, and I love styles that I can find at Urban Outfitters and Forever21. I’d describe my personal style as carefree!” She is excited to attend UT Austin in the future, and hopes to major in Neuroscience. She was valedictorian of her high school class, and overcame her stage fright to perform on stage, and in the musical Beauty and the Beast! Vicky, I’m so proud of the young woman you are, and it was an honor to be your photographer!
